
Cambridge University is established in Cambridge, England in 1209 by the scholar who left University of Oxford. It is the second oldest university which educates its students in english. It is a public university and it is best known for raising scientists such as Newton, Darwin, Rutherford and so on.
In 2006 according to the rankings of THES for the top universities, Cambridge took the second place. The university has the motto "Hinc lucem et pocula sacra" which means "From here, light and sacred draughts " in literal english.
